The 2013–14 season is Manchester City Football Club's 112th season of competitive football - its eighty-fifth season in the top division of English football and its seventeenth season in the Premier League since the league was first created with Manchester City as one of the original 22 founder-members. The season was notable for City's goal-scoring performances. Their 100th Premier League goal of the season was scored in the 4-0 victory over Aston Villa on 7 May 2014.
